Lucky's Post

The flying experience is very fun. This was my first time flying. My only worry was my ears popping. The people of Iceland are very friendly and easy to talk to and I felt welcomed. The hotel was nice and clean, but kind of small (beds). The shower was small and the water smelled pretty bad (like sulfur), but I survived.

The rec center was nicer than what we have in NJ. They have a water slide and you can play without a time limit.

My first experience playing an Iceland team was exciting because they were older but not as experienced as we were.

The tournament was interesting and it was hard to beat the champions team of Iceland, which we did twice. The European rules were very different than in the USA. For example you can't go back court sometimes and they don't call 5 second calls.

I got called for fouls which would not have been called in the USA. But overall I have enjoyed this once ion a lifetime chance to see how other countries live, eat and play.

Mom, Dad and Grandma I love you and thank you for making it possible for me to go to Iceland.
